The order

A new lighting system with 1,200 lamps is to be installed at an automotive supplier in Lower Saxony during ongoing production operations.

The challenge

Avoiding interruption of the operating process at all costs is always a particularly demanding task. If a crane is being used in the plant at the same time and we as installers are active in the plant in parallel with the GT 280 articulated telescopic platform, very special attention is required. The special thing about this job is that only the outer edge of the hall can be accessed with the working platform, but the luminaires naturally extend to the entire hall ceiling.

The solution

"Slower but better working people. Better to look once more, better to grasp the entire situation on site once more. Guarantee safety, not just aim for it. And use the best technology available on the market: In order to be able to reach all assembly sites, we use a working platform with which height differences of up to 10 meters can be overcome, with a reach of up to a maximum of 28 meters. These vehicles are extremely rare - there are only 10 of their kind in the whole of Germany . And through constant consultation with our client's employees, we are able to match the times when the crane is out of service and thus specifically avoid collisions and disruptions.
